Biography

Jennifer serves as full time faculty for and Curriculum Coordinator of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. She earned her BSN from Murray State University in 1985, her MSN (Primary Care Adult NP) in 1996 from Northern Kentucky University, her Post-MSN (Adult Acute Care NP) in 2011 from Saint Louis University and is currently a DNP candidate at Drexel University. Her nursing career spans 30 years and includes critical care, internal medicine and cardiology in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She maintains active clinical NP practice providing a blend of primary and acute care to medically underserved adults with complex health needs. Her passion lies with improving transitions in care for vulnerable populations, particularly the homeless, between the healthcare system and the community
