Biography

Jayne Josephsen joined the faculty at Boise State University in the fall of 2006. Josephsen earned her Ed.D in curriculum and instruction from Boise State University, her M.S in nursing education from Idaho State University, her B.S. in nursing from Boise State University, and she also holds a B.S. in Sociology from Oregon State University.

Research Intrest

Josephsen’s research interests focus upon the science of teaching and learning, specifically through technology. Her research projects have included analysis of various aspects of the use of technology in distance learning and development of simulations to address end of life care and transition to practice issues. Her current focus is on the impact of cognitive load and learning in simulation.
