Jayme Augusto de Souza-Neto Graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (UENF, 2002) and PhD in Genetics from the Institute of Biosciences of Botucatu (IBB / UNESP, 2006). He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2011) in the area of ​​functional genomics of the vector-pathogen interaction. He is Assistant Professor of the Department of Bioprocesses and Biotechnology and Vice-Executive Coordinator of the Institute of Biotechnology, both at UNESP in Botucatu. In the latter, he coordinates the Laboratory of Functional Genomics & Microbiology of Vectors (Vectomics).
