Jay H. Lefkowitch, is Professor in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology, areas of Light microscopy and electron microscopy of the liver, including chronic hepatitis, fatty liver disease, biliary tract disorder, HIV-related liver diseases and liver transplantation pathology. He was awarded MD degree from College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University .
