Biography

Dr. jasmine Shah is Meritorious Professor of analytical Chemistry, Specialization in analytical/Environmental Chmeistry, at University of Peshawar. He received his Ph.D degree from  Pakistan in Analytical Chemistry: Environmental Chemistry, Separation Science Techniques, FIA Methods Development, Recycling of Waste Polymers. He got HEC Best University Teacher Award (BUTA) 2012-2013, Civil Award “Tagha-e-Imtiaz” 2014, Fellow of the Chemical Society 2010, Pakistan, HEC Approved Research Supervisor, PCST sponsored RPA since 2003 and Productive Scientist, Postdoctoral Fulbright, USA 2001.

Research Intrest

Development of new solid phase extraction (SPE) methods using molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), Ion imprinted polymers (IIPs), magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs), biosorbent coated with magnetic nanoparticles, functionalized silica nanoparticles, silica coated-magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4/SiO2 NPs), graphene-magentic nanocomposites in the presence of surfactants and without surfactants for organic and inorganic species in samples of environmental and biological interest.
