Biography

Jaroslav Šušol, PhD., Graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts in Bratislava (1986) and ULB in Brussels (Information and Documentation, 1992). Since 1988, he has worked at FiF UK, first as a research scientist, later assistant professor (1990), associate professor (2003) and professor (2011). He specializes in information systems, electronic communication, information and publishing behavior in science and in electronic environments. He participated in 15 research tasks, of which 3 were international. He studied at Universidad Autónoma (1992), Aberdeene (Robert Gordon University, 1994), Washington (1996), Urbana-Champaign (University of Illinois, 1996) Central European University (1997), Stuttgart (Fachhochschule Stuttgart 1998), Darmstadt (Fachhochschule Darmstadt, 2000), Stockholm (Stockholm University, 2002). Since 2003, he has been Vice-dean of the faculty for bachelor and master studies, since December 2011 he has been the Dean of the Faculty.

Information systems, electronic communication, information and publishing behavior in science and in electronic environments.
