Biography

Jaqueline de Azevêdo Silva working as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Genetics and Researcher at the Keizo Asami - LIKA Immunopathology Laboratory where she develops research activities involving molecular biology techniques and cell culture assays. The main lines of research involve autoimmune diseases, such as Type I Diabetes Mellitus and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and currently work in infectious diseases with Tuberculosis. She has a PhD and a Masters in Genetics from the Federal University of Pernambuco. Bachelor of Biological Sciences and specialization in Molecular Biology, both from the University of Pernambuco.
