Janelle M. Walter is currently working as a Professor of Family and Consumer Sciences and Nutrition Sciences Program Coordinator at Baylor University. Born in Houston, Tx., attended University of Houston for a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree; taught for Houston Independent 6.5 yrs; Graduated from Iowa State University in 1978; Worked for the State Board of Education 1 yr as a nutrition consultant. I have taught at Baylor for 34 years. Her research interest includes Food Science, Food Acceptability, Barriers to Home Food Preparation & Adolescent Eating Behaviors. Her current research work is going on Effect of sugar substitutes on food quality.
