Biography

Jakob Bohr, Ph.D. is Professor in Physics at the Technical University of Denmark. Dr. Bohr held academic positions in the Physics Department of Brookhaven National Laboratory and the DTU, and he was an employee of Risø National Laboratory. Dr. Bohr served as Member of the Board of Scientific Advisors at Stemedica Cell Technologies, Inc. He served as Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Cengent Therapeutics Inc. He was the 1985 co-winner of the award for Outstanding Scientific Accomplishment in the category of Solid State Physics in the U.S. Department of Energy's Annual Material Sciences Research Competition and winner of the 1993 Villum Kann Rasmussen's award for Technical Research. Dr. Bohr has co-authored approximately 80 articles in respected scientific journals. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Sapient Discovery, LLC. Dr. Bohr completed his Ph.D. work in X-ray scattering from monoatomic layers at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
