Prof Hannes Britz is currently Dean and Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee, USA and Professor Extraordinary at the School of Information Technology at the University of Pretoria. Dr. Britz is co-editor of the International Review of Information Ethics (IRIE) and serves on the editorial board of the Library and Information Science Research Journal of the University of Bucharest. He is a member of the advisory board of the South Africa Journal of Library and Information Science. Dr. Britz is author of numerous articles in the field of Information Ethics and his latest research focuses on information poverty and social justice.
