First Degree in Physics at the University of Athens in 1975. Postgraduate studies at the Department of Informatics at the Technical University of West Berlin. In 1983 he obtained his Doctorate Diploma (Dr. Ing) in the field of Software Engineering. He worked, to date, as a tutor in the field of his speciality in various Institutions and Higher Education Institutes and has taken part in project management committees of ICT-Projects and Mediterranean Integrated Program of Informatics, of the 2nd and 3rd Community Support Framework. He has served as assistant head of the Informatics Development Service of the Ministry of Presidency of Government, General Secretary of Greek Computer Society, head of the department of Informatics at the TEI of Athens, member of the executive board of KHYKY, General Secretary of the Natioanl Center of Public Administration and member of the executive board of Information Society SA. His research work and interests are found amongst the methodologies of developement and management of Information Systems, amongst Case tools and Business Modeling, applications of Informatics in the areas of Public Administration, Health and Education and amongst Electronic Learning systems.
