Igor is a Professor of Physics at Trinity College Dublin, having lectured there since 1991. He is also a Fellow of Trinity College and Principal Investigator of Science Foundation Ireland. He heads an active research group of some 20 researchers. As a recognized expert and consultant in the field of nanotechnology, he is the author of more than 100 technical papers and numerous patent applications. Prof. Shvets is also co-founder of Cellix Ltd.
