Humayun Kabir has completed B.Sc. (Hon's) in Physics from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka in 2005 and M.Sc. in Physics from the same university in 2007. He carried out a thesis on electronics under supervision of Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury. He has also completed his M.Phil degree in the field of material science from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka-1000 in 2013. He completed his M.Phil thesis under potential supervision of Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan He worked as a lecture at the departmnet of Physics, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka from August 2009 to September 2012. He is now working as an Assistant Professor at the same department and same university from September 2012 to till. His research field is Electronics and Matereial Science (specially in Composites and Polymer Materials, preaparing thin films by using different techniqes). He has published seventeen papers in different national and international journals. Currently Mr Kabir is doing MRes in Nanomaterials under the supervision of Dr. Artemis Stamboulis at the school of Metallurgy and Materials in the University of Birmingham, UK.
