Biography

Hosein Farzanehfard was born in Isfahan, Iran, in 1961. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1983 and 1985, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, in 1992. Since 1993, he has been a Faculty Member at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan. He is the author of more than 100 papers in journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include high-frequency soft-switching converters, pulse power applications, power factor correction, active power filters, and electromagnetic interference.
