Biography

Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1987), Master's degree in Biochemistry and Immunology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1992) and PhD in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (2000). Currently Associate Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at Pharmacy, qualification in Clinical Analysis at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Has experience in the field of Biochemistry, with emphasis on Enzymology. Biochemical characterization studies of Brazilian snake proteases in coagulation (Toxinology). Studies of alterations of biochemical parameters in stress frames in the human organism (Clinical Biochemistry).
