Biography

Completed Ph.D. in field of Adhoc Network Routing issues. Primarily focusing Delay Tolerant Network, Routing Issues, Mobility Modelling. Teaching on Theory of Computation, Advance Network Programming, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Unified Modeling Language, Software Engineering,Software Testing, Linux and Shell Programming, Advanced Operating Systems. Predominantly my research interest has remained on Ad-hoc Networks, Routing Challenges, Mobility Modeling in Extreme Networks and issues on DTN. Along the above I have focused on Network Mathematics, especially for theories of optimization, graph, probability, markov chains & random process, game theory, statistics and queuing theory. Completed my Master’s Degree with a Gold Medal in 2007 from Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Gujarat, one of the premiere institutes of Engineering Universities in India. For over 15 years I have been teaching in Ganpat University, one of the leading private Universities of Gujarat, and visiting to other Colleges and Universities as a Visiting Faculty. Joined as a Lecturer on 2nd May 2007 to the Dept. of CE & IT, U.V. Patel College of Engineering Ganpat University, promoted to Assistant Professor on 25th July 2007, and Associate Professor 23rd June 2010. Leading a team of IT Operations of Ganpat University which involves work of Infrastructure Planning & Development, Network Design & Management and Server Administration Worked in ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), Ahmedabad completed in the field of A TCP Performance Enhancing Proxy [PEP] for satellite link for my Master’s Degree Dissertation under the guidance of Dr. K S Dasgupta, Group Director, ADCTG, ISRO, India (12-05-2006 to 20-4-2007). Developed Linux Kernel module for PEP agent on kernel-2.6.9 Was responsible for Linux server configuration & administration, network design & implementation, developed Payroll & Personnel System for business application constitutes of various modules as team member, tools used were Visual Basic 5.0, SQL server 6.5, Crystal Report 4.5
