Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998), a PhD in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais 2003), postdoctoral degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2004) and postdoctoral degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2014). He is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Has experience in the field of Pharmacology, with emphasis in Pharmacology Biochemistry and Molecular.

Research Intrest

Neurotransmission, glutamate, distal colon, guinea pig, calcium ions.
