Dr. Hassan Zeineddine’s main research interest is in the field of information systems and communication networks. He published several research papers on these topics and collaborated with several research institutions and industry partners in North America such as the University of Ottawa, McGill University, and Communications Research Center in Canada. Some of his work was part of the AAPN project sponsored by the National Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). His other research interests include data security and privacy in supply chains, pervasive structural health monitoring systems, and expert systems. Prior to joining AUD in 2009, Dr. Zeineddine worked for several telecommunication firms such as Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent’s affiliates, and Spirent Communications. He also worked on short term assignments with Siemens ATM Switching business unit, and Microsoft e-Commerce Server project. Earlier in his career, he helped in analyzing and designing database systems for publishing firms and food wholesale suppliers. During his 14 years of industry involvement, Dr. Zeineddine built a sound experience in analyzing, specifying and designing software systems based on several Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and IT platforms, and earned skills in leading projects across multiple sites. Beside his research and industry involvements, Dr. Zeineddine is a part-time professor and a frequent visiting researcher at the University of Ottawa in Canada. In addition, Dr. Zeineddine teaches information systems courses at the undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA levels. He also taught statistics and probabilities, network services, operating systems, data communications, and programming courses
