Biography

Prior to coming to CNU College of Medicine, Dr. diSibio completed his fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. After receiving his undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley, Dr. diSibio began his post-baccalaureate career as a staff research associate at the Human Genome Mapping Center at U.C. San Francisco and Stanford University. He completed his MD/PhD training at UC Los Angeles, internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford, and residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Harbor-UCLA. He completed his fellowship in Hematopathology at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and then practiced Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento, California.

Structure-function studies of mammalian Notch receptors and their ligands; Radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus; Cancer metastasis patterns in autopsy studies; Large cell transformation of composite mature lymphomas; Population genetics and disparities in genetic testing among underserved populations
