Guðrún Pálmadóttir associate professor, University of Akureyri, Iceland. Work experience Since 2009: Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) Occupational Therapy Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Akureyri. 1997 - 2008: Assistant Professor (Lecturer) and Program Director Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Akureyri. 1999 - 2007: Irregularly, Assistant Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Akureyri. 2000: Acting Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Akureyri, part-time.

Research Intrest

Guðrún Pálmadóttir research interests Client-centred rehabilitation. Participation and quality of life of people living with disability or chronic illness. ICF – International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health. Occupational roles, percieved health, and service needs of women after breast cancer. Occupational therapy in Icelandic context. Assessment methods. Qualitative research.
