Gurdev Singh did his Bachelors in Architecture from CEPT in 1975. His thesis is titled “Proportioning and Scaling aspects (Islamic Architecture)”. He joined Navrachana University in April 2011 as Professor and Dean of Architecture.Professor Gurdev Singh, with experience in Australia, India, Yemen and Kuwait of over 41 years, provides senior leadership to this team. He is an academic and practitioner in the profession of architecture. In professional practice he leads the design team in the development of structures, environmentally sustainable architectural design and the art of building.As an Architect/Coordinator, Gurdev has experience of leading teams in large scale construction projects.

Gurdev Singh has a very clear vision for SEDA (School of Environmental Design and Architecture) which is governed by the thought process, rather than the end product. He clearly and successfully transfers his knowledge between multiple disciplines, which is demonstrated by his outstanding ability to fulfill architecture and academic roles.
