Biography

Professor Guozhi Xiao is an internationally renowned bone biologist. He made several important contributions to our understanding of transcriptional control of osteoblast and osteoclast formation. His work is reported in more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, many in high profile journals such as the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the Journal of Biological Chemistry, Molecular Endocrinology, Endocrinology, Cancer Research, the Journal of Cell Biology, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, and Blood. Consistent with the high regard the scientific community has for Dr. Xiao, he serves as a reviewer for the US National Science Foundation, the Italian Ministry of Health and the National Natural Science Foundation of China and is on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
