From 2006 his research activity is dedicated to the study of tribology properties of materials within the framework of SUP&RMAN laboratory (Superfici & Ricoprimenti per la Meccanica Avanzata e la Nanomeccanica). In particular he is interested on friction and adhesion measurements at the nanoscale by AFM (Atomic Force Microscope).
