Göran Birgersson is a Professor at the Department of Plant Health Biology in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Since his subject is Chemical Ecology,he is interested in the chemical communication that all living beings use. He completed BA in University of Gothenburg, 1980. He did PH.D. in Chemical Ecology at the University of Gothenburg in 1988. and Postdoc in Forestology at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA 1988-1990. He was appointed as a Professor of Chemical Ecology at the University of Gothenburg, 1993.Now he si a Professor of Chemical Ecology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences 2011.
