Biography

Ophthalmologist, Professor of the Universities, Professor Gisèle Soubrane made her internship in Paris V (Cochin) and his doctorate of science at the Pierre and Marie Curie University. She was appointed Professor at the Universities in 1991, and was Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at Paris XII - Créteil (1996-2009) and Associate Professor at the Hôtel Dieu Service of Ophthalmology at the University of Paris-Center since 2011. She is a member of the leading French and foreign ophthalmology companies: The French Society of Ophthalmology, of which she was Secretary General, the European Board of Ophthalmology, of which she was President in 2001, Club Gonin, Macula Society, the Fluorescein Angiography Club (FAN Club), the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the European Societies for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) has been a member of several editorial and research committees and has won numerous prizes, the last four of which are: 2011: European Medal of Excellence in Education (EBO) 2012: Kreissig Prize (Milan Euretina) 2012 Honorary Member of the Finnish Society of Ophthalmology (Helsinki) 2012 Reading of the Academy Internationalis Ophthalmological (WOC Abu Dhabi)
