Ghias- Ud- din is Professor of chemistry at University of Peshawar.He completed his B. Sc.  (Chemistry),M. Sc. (Organic Chemistry), University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan and Ph. D. (Organic Chemistry 1995), HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi Pakistan. Thesis Title: “Chemical Studies on the Constituents of Azadirachta Indica A. Isolation and synthesis of new pharmaceutical compounds from natural sources such as traditional medicinal herbs/plants, marine organisms, and microorganisms to develop biosynthesis of natural products and microbial transformations of bioactive natural products and determine their structure-activity relationship using by various analytical/chromatographic techniques; such as column chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC) and thin/thick layer chromatography (TLC), Bio-gel column chromatography.
