Biography

 Dr. George Mazariegos is a pediatric liver and intestine transplant surgeon and the Director of the Hillman Center for Pediatric Transplantation at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. He is on Active Staff at the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, a Pediatric Specialty Hospital, and on the Coverage Staff at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside. At the University of Pittsburgh, he is a Professor of Surgery, the Jamie Lee Curtis Endowed Chair in Transplantation Surgery. He also holds joint appointments in Pitt’s Departments of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
