Biography

Dr. Gagneur's research work therefore pursues the objectives outlined in the Quebec Immunization Promotion Plan (PQPV) developed in 2010 by the Provincial Immunization Promotion Committee, in particular by analyzing the psycho-social determinants of immunization As well as maternity intervention studies.

Research Intrest

In Quebec, vaccine coverage (CV) in young children remains suboptimal, particularly as an increasing proportion of parents are ambivalent about the safety and efficacy of vaccines. In this context, the achievement of the CV objectives may pose particular challenges and require more sustained promotional efforts to justify the creation of an effective vaccination promotion plan.
