I teach on the pre-registration health care programmes within the adult nursing field. I am part of the specialist teams who teach Moving and Handling and First Aid. I am also part of the admissions team for pre-registration adult nursing. Research project as part of the MA in Academic Practice. I undertook a qualitative research study investigating when in the programme (first, second or third year) student nurses who had previously worked as Health care Assistants made the transition to being a Student Nurse.
