Biography

Fernando Portella de Luna Marques Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University. Master in Biology from the University of New Brunswick, St. John, Canada (1994). PhD in Zoology from the University of Toronto, Canada. He is currently an advisor and professor at the University of São Paulo, Department of Zoology. Interest and research activity: diversification of elasmobranchs and neotropical parasites, molecular systematics, cladistic theory, and larval evolution and phylogeny of Brachyura.
