Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Bachelor's and Bachelor's degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1984 and 1985), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1989) and a PhD in Biosciences São Paulo (1999). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, working as professor from 1992 to 2002 at the Federal University of Viçosa, in the Department of Plant Biology. He has experience in Botany, with emphasis on Plant Anatomy.

Research Intrest

Plant morphology under stress, wood anatomy, phenotypic plasticity, cerrado, campo rupestre.
