Biography

Agronomist from the Federal University of Viçosa (1985), master's degree in Entomology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1988) and PhD in Entomology from the University of Kansas (1995). He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Zoology of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where he teaches disciplines in the area of ​​systematics and zoology of invertebrates. He is professor and full advisor of the Graduate Program in Zoology of UFMG. She has experience in Zoology, with emphasis on Bee Systematics and Conservation, working mainly on the following topics: bees, fauna, systematics, conservation and biodiversity.
