Biography

Faye Carlson, Clinical Assistant Professor of School of Nursing at Boise State University, joined the School of Nursing in 2002 with over 30 years of experience with the primary focus in adult medical, surgical, and trauma care. Carlson will be the Undergraduate Coordinator beginning in the Fall 2015. She received her Nursing Diploma from Rapid City Regional School of Nursing from Rapid City, South Dakota, Bachelor of Science Degree from Boise State University, Master’s Degree from Idaho State University. Carlson is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, Neuroscience Nurses Association, and the International Forensic Nurses Association. Carlson completed a Forensic Nursing Certificate program from Kaplan University in 2005. Carlson has held certifications in Critical Care Nursing and Neuroscience Nursing. Her interests include teaching foundations and on and off campus clinical.
