Biography

Fariha Hasan obtained Ph.D. from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She currently holds as an Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. (since Jan. 2004). Her research of interest includes Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Biodegradation of synthetic polymers, Microbial enzymes, Microbial diversity, Biofilms, Geomicrobiology, Metagenomics, Glaciology, Extremophiles (Psychrophiles, Archaea) and Methanotrophs.
