Biography

Frasia Oosthuizen holds a B.Pharm, MSc and PhD (Pharmacology), completed at the Potchefstroom University for CHE (now North-West University).  She is a senior lecturer in Pharmacology, School of Health Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.  She is involved in teaching Pharmacology in the undergraduate B.Pharm programme, and has also developed modules in Pharmacology as part of the Masters in Health Sciences coursework programme.  Her main areas of research interest are Psychopharmacology, Pharmaco-vigilence as well as Pharmacy Education, and she has published in these areas, as well as having presented at national and international conferences.
