Born in Gaziantep in 1976, Prof. EviÅŸen completed his schooling at Gaziantep Anatolian High School and graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 1999. In the same year he began his specialty training in ophthalmology at Tepecik Education Hospital, finally qualifying in 2004. He worked for one year at Bozüyük State Hospital. Prof. EviÅŸen, who has been working at the private Sani KonukoÄŸlu Hospital as an ophthalmologist since May 2010, is a member of the Gaziantep-Kilis Medical Chamber and the Turkish Ophthalmology Society. He is married and has one daughter. In 2014 Prof. EviÅŸen was appointed as assistant professor of ophthalmology at SANKO University.
