Biography

Euripidis Mistakidis received his Diploma in Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Technology, Department of Civil Engineering in October 1987. and Doctoral degree, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece, June 1992 Currently he is a Professor of Structural analysis, Dept. of Civil Engineering Univ. of Thessaly – Greece and Consultant for the structural design of special projects

Research Intrest

 Development of methods for the assessment of the seismic behaviour of Civil Engineering Structures.  Improvement of the seismic behavior of existing structures through innovative technologies.  Numerical simulation of the structural response of civil engineering structures and components (steel and composite joints, fibre reinforced concrete members, thinwalled structures).  Development of methods for nonconvex – nonsmooth optimization and applications in structural analysis  Behaviour of structures in elevated temperatures
