Research Intrest

Research Interests: (i) Genetic engineering of important food crops, (ii) Studies on in vitro propagation of horticultural and forest tree crops, (iii) Characterization of crop plants by use of DNA markers, (iv) 4. Dissemination of novel technologies to rural communities , (v) Participatory Rural Appraisal surveys to learn from the rural communities the factors affecting production of horticultural plants, (vi) Market studies with the aim of organizing farmers to market their crops in organized manner and (vii) Technology development in horticulture for poverty reduction
