Biography

Erland Liljeroth is a Professor at the Department of Plant Health Biology in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He did PhD in ”Interactions between plants and microorganisms”, 1990 and Post Doc at Research Institute Ital, Netherlands (1991). He was working as a Researcher at SLU, Sweden 1992-1995, 1997-2012. He was the Lecturer with extension duties. Now he is working as a professor in Plant Protection.

Research Intrest

Plant defence and induced resistance and practical applications of alternative plant protection methods and traditional pesticides to obtain efficient disease control with minimized use of pesticides.
