Dr. Martin received her Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 2008. Her emphasis is in commutative algebra. Specifically, she is interested in Serre’s Vanishing Conjecture which deals with how subspaces intersect. Other research interests include Zero Divisor Graphs and Cohen Macaulay posets. Dr. Martin joined the faculty in 2010.
