Biography

Erik Andreasson is a Professor in the Department of Plant Protection Biology in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden since 2009.He completed his PhD in Molecular Cell Biology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, 2000. He did Post doc in University of Copenhagen, 2000–2003 and in Sainsbury Laboratory, John Innes Centre, UK, 2003–2005.He was working as an Assistant professor (Forskarassistent)in Lund University, 2005–2009.

Research Intrest

Research on ability of plants to deal with stress and disease (mainly against Late Blight, Early Blight and Blackleg).
