Biography

Elizabeth Zorzanello Emery has practiced in the field of dietetics for nearly 30 years and is a Licensed Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Drexel University and completed supervised practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds a Master of Science in Health Education from St. Joseph’s University and additional post graduate training from La Salle’s Instructional Technology Management program. Ms. Emery joined the faculty at La Salle in 2004 after teaching at the Community College of Philadelphia and Drexel University. She has been the recipient of several teaching awards, including the Make a Difference Award given by the Drexel University Student Athletes and the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award given by the American Dietetic Association. She is the author of Clinical Case Studies for the Nutrition Care Process, published in 2012 by Jones and Bartlett Learning.
