Biography

Prof/Dr.Elizabeth Ames has received his Education in Medical School: University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, VT. Currently she is working as Professor in university of vermont. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a professor. He has received several awards and honors, such as Raymond F. Kuhlmann Award for Outstanding Orthopaedic Research, UVM (2001), Excellence in Teaching from the residents in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont etc.

Research Intrest

Dr. Ames' major research activities include the study of regional bone density in spinal stenosis, lumbar pedicle morphology and the changes with the aging process, and the biomechanics of lumbar fixation
