Biography

Elissa Ayoub joined AUD in Fall 2016. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Filmmaking by Practice. She has worked on numerous artful films as part of her Ph.D. in London and Lebanon. Her practical work encompasses short films, screenplays and a feature films. She works on films that deal with human rights issues such as Mali that portrays the lives of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon and Malaki scent of an angel, a docu-drama that revolves around the lives of mothers whose children were abducted during the Lebanese civil war. Currently, she is in the final phase of Nour, a feature length film that deals wit the topic of forced child marriage in Lebanon.
