Biography

Eleri studied Sports and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University (2003-2006), before completing an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology (2007-2008), here in the SHES department. She was then awarded a Leverhulme Trust funded PhD scholarship. Her research focused on exploring the process goal paradox and conceptualization and measurement of performance anxiety, which she completed in 2013 at Glamorgan University. During her time at Glamorgan University, Eleri also worked as a Sport Science Lecturer, teaching on a number of sport psychology and coaching modules. In August 2014, Eleri re-joined Bangor University as a Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Lecturer in Sport Psychology.
