Ph.D program: PhD thesis with Prof. Salvador Martinez and Prof. John Rubenstein at the Department of Morphological Sciences and Psycobiology of the University of Murcia between September 1996 and November 2000. Doctorate in Biological Sciences by University of Murcia in November 2000. Posdoctoral Positions: MRC Center for Developmental Neurobiology, King’s College London, United Kingdom Laboratory of Prof. A. Simeone between February 2001 y October 2004. Previous positions: Researcher (Ramón y Cajal Program) in the Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante from November 2004 to October 2009. Current Position: Lecturer in Human Anatomy and Embryology since November 2009.
Research Fields: Study of the embryonic development of the vertebrate Central Nervous System. Special interest in the dorsoventral patterning during development and it’s implication in the differentiation of the diverse neuronal centres in the adult.
