Biography

Eduardo da Silva Alves dos Santos currently a professor at the Department of Zoology of the University of São Paulo (USP).He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Ecology at USP in the laboratory of Professor Glauco Machado where he investigated aspects about the macroecology of sexual selection.He was interested in understanding mechanisms and processes responsible for various patterns of animal behavior observed in nature. He took my PhD in Zoology from the University of Otago in New Zealand under the guidance of Professor Shinichi Nakagawa with an emphasis on behavioral ecology. He got my Master's degree in Ecology from the University of Brasília. He attended a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences at the Catholic University of Brasilia. He work in the area of ​​behavioral ecology, with emphasis on the evolution of mating systems
