Doc. Mgr. Eduard Burda, PhD. Is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. Before 2014, he worked at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and Criminology, and from 2014 he worked at the Department of Administrative and Environmental Law. In his scientific work he focuses on the issue of criminal law in connection with other legal and extrajudicial branches of law, especially the right of law. The result of this research is a chapter in the scientific monograph "Analogy in Public Law". He published more than six dozen scientific papers, two scientific monographs on "Criminal Offenses against Life and Health Compared to the Old and Recodified Criminal Law" in 2006, and "Necessary Defense and Other Criminal Exclusions" in 2013. He is the lead author of the scientific commentary To the Criminal Code by CH Beck. In his pedagogical work, he attempts to link theoretical and practical knowledge and to introduce innovative teaching methods. His hobby includes tourism, film and fiction, including his work.
