Biography

She holds a degree in Statistics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996), a Master's degree in Statistics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998) and a PhD in Statistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008). She is an associate professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais since 1999. She is a lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Medications and Pharmaceutical Assistance at the Faculty of Pharmacy of UFMG. She was sub-coordinator and coordinator of the UFMG Undergraduate Program in Statistics. Has experience in the area of Probability and Statistics, with emphasis on Data Analysis, Spatial Statistics, Bayesian Inference and Dynamic Models, working mainly on the following topics: punctual processes, disease mapping, MCMC methods.
