She received the NRF/DAAD In-country scholarship for completion of doctoral degree (2011-2013). She also is the reviewer for various journals like Third World Quarterly (2016), South African Journal of Research in Sport, Physical Education and Recreation (2011,2012, 2014, 2015, 2016), Journal of Policy Research in Tourism Leisure and Events (2015), International Journal of the History of Sport (2015) and others.

Research Intrest

Her field of interest is Destination marketing, sports tourism and events management.
